A popular market in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital caught fire yesterday night thereby throwing the entire area into panic and confusion.
According to an eyewitness, the raging fire was almost spreading to a Zenith Bank branch close-by before the situation was arrested.
Fire fighter stormed the scene of the accident promptly and strived hard to put out the fire.
According to reports, the fire was ignited from an uncompleted building where 'knockouts' was being sold in Wuse market, Abuja.
The use of fireworks have been banned in some states in Nigeria due to accidents and the incidents of crime.
