President Muhammadu Buhari's wife, Aisha Buhari, has today landed in war-thorn Maiduguri, the Borno state capital as the state government are ready to host her.
Aisha Buhari, Nigeria's first lady and wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, has arrived Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
A close aide of Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima earlier disclosed to a reporter and said that Governor Shettima and the State House are all prepared and are expecting Mrs. Buhari.
''We have been working assiduously to make sure we give our mother Aisha Buhari befitting welcome, she will be in Maiduguri tomorrow,'' the aide said to a correspondent.
This is Mrs. Buhari’s first trip to Borno State since she moved into Aso Villa last May.
