Horror! How A Midnight Fire Outbreak Left A 29-Year-Old Cleric Dead In Jigawa

The fire which occurred on Monday started at about 2:00 a.m., killed the cleric and injured two other almajiris.

Muhammad Ahmad, a 29-year-old Islamic cleric, has died.

The man was killed in a fire incident at Kuka village in Kirikasamma local Government area of Jigawa State.

The Local Government Information officer, Sanusi Soro confirmed the incident to DAILY POST.

He said the fire which occurred on Monday started at about 2:00 a.m., killed the cleric and injured two other almajiris.

He explained that the cleric died as a result of suffocation.

Meanwhile, another fire incident destroyed eight houses in Kadangare village in Birnin kudu local Government area of Jigawa State.

Kwangwara Ward councilor, Alhaji Sule Ubale confirmed the incident to DAILY POST.

He said the source of the fire is unknown but that it destroyed all the houses, food items and livestocks in the area.

Ubale said two persons escaped death from the inferno.

He called on the government, politicians and wealthy individuals to support the victims.
