Two commercial banks in Ijede, Ikorodu Lagos State namely; First Bank and Wema Bank, were attacked by armed robbers this morning.
A gang of armed robbers stormed First Bank Omitoro branch & Wema Bank Ijede in Ikorodu Lagos this morning.
According to eyewitnesses reports, the robbers shot into the air to scare passers by and commuters away.
As at the time of filing this report, there were no clear details on the number of thieves that invaded the banks on the first day of the month of June.
