Bandits Release Video Of Kaduna Students After 47 days In Captivity

The students appear to be having it rough at the hands of their captors, according to a video released by the gunmen on Tuesday.

Bandits who abducted students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Kaduna State, have released a video showing the remaining 29 students in their custody.

The bandits had requested a N500 million ransom from the Kaduna State government but the state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai vowed not to negotiate with bandits.

The students appear to be having it rough at the hands of their captors, according to a video released by the gunmen on Tuesday.

The gunmen had on March 12, 2021 invaded the institution and abducted 39 students, including a pregnant woman.

The 2 minutes, 20 seconds video which was recorded in the night in an undisclosed location, shows the students lined up and looking unkempt.

The bandits ordered some of them to take turns to appeal to their parents to pay the ransom demanded by their abductors.
