Governor Udom Donates N60M To Families Of Slain Police Officers

Governor Emmanuel who made the donation on Monday, May 11 when he paid a condolence visit to the command headquarters, condemned the killings and asked security operatives to rise to the challenge.

Akwa Ibom state governor, Udom Emmanuel has donated the sum of N60M to families of security officers killed by gunmen in the state.

About 15 security operatives have been killed in the last three months in coordinated attacks against security operatives in the state.

Governor Emmanuel who made the donation on Monday May 11 when he paid a condolence visit to the command headquarters, condemned the killings and asked security operatives to rise to the challenge.

He Said;

“As a government, we condemn these senseless attacks and killing of security operatives in our state. I urge the command to rise to the occasion of containing the challenge."
