A woman, Eunice Leshunet from Kenya was brutalized by her husband after she revealed to him her intention to run for election.
According to Francis Waithaka, the CEO of Digital4Africa, who shared the photo on twitter, Leshunet was assaulted by her husband because she declared her interest in running for a senatorial seat in 2017.
Police in Kenya are currently investigating the case.
