Kiss Daniel's management has responded to criticism that his latest song, 'Laye' sounds a lot like his smashing single - Woju, saying 98 per cent of the singer's fans think otherwise.
Kiss Daniel released a new song 'Laye' on May 1, 2015 as a follow up to his hit single 'Woju', but some people criticized his latest effort as sounding a lot like 'Woju'.
Responding to the critics for the first time, the singer's (real name Daniel Anidupe) manager, Louiza Williams, said the negative reaction will spur Kiss Daniel to be better.
"As the manager to Kiss Daniel, I feel alright over the 'Laye' criticism because it's normal for every trending artiste to be criticised, and whoever has not been through this phase is probably not getting it right", Williama said in a statement.
The statement further read:
"On behalf of G-Worldwide Entertainment, we continuously strive and believe in satisfying our fans and supporters; by dishing out good music through our artiste - Kiss Daniel. We are pretty much aware of the fact that two percent of our fans are not too satisfied with our artiste latest work, in as much as ninety-eight percent of our fans still love the song and appreciate it as what was being demanded for.
"We have seen several reviews and heard all your comments via different platforms, and would like to openly state that YOU ARE ALL CELEBRATED. Trust me, the criticism from some of our fans all over the world, will definitely be used to our advantage and make us get better in our field by the day.
"Hence, we take responsibility and empathise with the two percent of Kiss Daniel's fans that might be indifferent towards his latest effort 'Laye'. We are optimistic about our forth-coming projects and products, all for your listening pleasure".
