Two Motorcycle Snatchers Arrested In Delta

The suspects were apprehended by the authorities after their colleague was caught and ratted them out.

Two motorcycle snatchers have been arrested by a Police patrol team in Oghara Community, Ethiope-West Local Government Area.

The suspects include Boytie Samuel and Vero Amughoro, 47yrs.

The Police also recovered two unregistered motorcycles, one big Elema generator, Nissan Primera with reg No BEN 564 LT from the suspect.

It was learnt that the Police in a patrol within Oghara and its environs intercepted the first suspect at Koko junction.

On suspicion, he was taken to the Police Station and during interrogation, he confessed himself and others now at large to motorcycle snatchers.

He later led police Operatives to Koko junction where the above items suspected to have been stolen were recovered.

The Delta State Police Command led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali confirmed the report in a statement signed by the Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.

The Police Image maker said, “Manhunt for the other members of the gang is ongoing.”
