Two Children And 5 Adults Abducted In Suleja

The kidnappers in large number invaded some houses and a hotel around 1:35 am on Tuesday, August 3.

Suspected bandits abducted two children and seven adults in Anguwar Kwankwashe in Suleja, Niger state.

Daily Trust reported that the kidnappers in large number invaded some houses and a hotel around 1:35 am on Tuesday August 3. Two of the kidnap victims however escaped from their abductors.

An eyewitness, Shehu Abdulkadir said;

“They split into groups to attack homes from where they took their victims.

“It was even the sound of their gun shot that woke me up. I walked quietly to check the window and discovered that the kidnappers, some of them even dressed like soldiers."

A vigilante, who preferred anonymity, said he alerted men of the C police division immediately he heard the sound of the sporadic gunshots in the area. He said the vigilante and the police from C division engaged the kidnappers in a shootout, but they still escaped with their victims.
