A toddler has been discovered dead in a Lagos suburb after she was wrapped in a carton and thrown into a refuse dump.

A two-month-old lifeless baby was Wednesday, reportedly found in a carton at a refuse dump located near Salvation Army Primary School, Sabo, Ikorodu, Lagos state, with her neck twisted.
According to Vanguad, a man who allegedly went to the site to defecate at about 8 a.m discovered the lifeless baby and raised the alarm.
The body was in a carton with diapers, a gown and an Ankara wrapper.
On-lookers reportedly invited officials of the Ambulance Unit of the Ministry of Health, who reportedly took the baby away.
