Naira Marley, the popular singer, has reacted to trending video of guests dancing to his song ‘Coming’ at Yusuf, the son of President Muhammadu Buhari’s wedding in Kano State.
About one hundred private jets landed in Kano over the weekend as Buhari’s son wedded daughter of Emir of Bichi, Nasiru Bayero in Kano State.
It was a grand ceremony in Bichi, which was attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former President Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, serving and former governors, Federal and states legislators, traditional rulers, as well as prominent personalities from within and outside the country.
The songs played at the wedding has attracted criticisms from Nigerians on social media and has drawn the attention of Naira Marley.
Sharing the video on his Instagram page, Naira Marley wished he was invited for the wedding, saying the North loves him.
His post read: “This was at Buhari’s son wedding yesterday in Kano. I’m a certified hit maker apparently, anytime you hear Naira Marley your home training must japa.
“I wish I was at this wedding sha looks too fun, I love them in the North and they love me too.”
