Patience Thomas, a 200-level student of Taraba State University is dead.
The student in the Department of Peace and Conflict Resolution died in the hostel after complaining of catarrh and headache.
The sad incident took place at Zenith Hostel in the early hours of Sunday, August 22.
"She was having catarrh yesterday. Then woke up around 2am in the night and was complaining of headache. Her roommates started praying for her but then she gave up the ghost." One Goodness Emmanuel said.
Meanwhile, the Dean of Students Affairs of the institution, Prof. Dr. Rebecca Irany, has paid a condolence to the female hostel.
