Loopy Music's DJ Lamborghini took to Instagram today to share a personal story, never before told, of how she took a last minute decision that ended up saving her from perishing in a plane crash 3 years ago.
Arguably Nigeria's foremost female disc jockey, DJ Lambo, has shared a personal story of how she escaped the unfortunate air mishap involving Dana Airline in 2012.
DJ Lambo, born Olawunmi Okerayi, who got signed on to MI Abaga's Loopy Music in 2013 after she had disc-jockeyed for Chocolate City for over a year, narrated how a last minute decision to travel by road from Abuja to Lagos, saved her and her dreams of being a renowned DJ, from premature death.
She shared her testimony in an Instagram post today:
"I usually don't like to write up stories and epistles on the gram but today, I have alot to be thankful for. Three years ago today, I took a leap of faith and moved to Lagos from Abuja with nothing but dreams. I was To buy a ticket on the Dana flight that sadly crashed that day, but decided last minute to come by road, which i never do!! Anyways, I just want to SCREAM THANK GOD for giving me the grace to keep going because looking back now i realise even though I have a very long way to go, I've climbed a mountain! ABUJA! I'm here to TURN UP!! XOLIFESTYLE LATER TONIGHT!! #ThankFul #HappyKid"
