A mischievous and highly spirited grandmother has been captured playing the ageless 'knock and run' prank on a neighbour.
Olive Smyth is a mischievous grandmum who has been filmed playing knock and run on a neighbour.
The 81-year-old Smyth went to Stoneybatter in Dublin, where she grew up, to play the game. She had been encouraged by her son Mark, who wanted to cheer up his mum following his dad's death.
"When we arrived there her face lit up with happiness and she started showing myself and my friend all her friends' homes," Mark told the Irish Independent .
"Then she laughed and said, 'God, I remember playing [knock and run] on all these doors with my friends. Oh, the memories!'.
"So I said, 'Why don't we do it now. Let's relive your memories.
"They thought I was taking a photo but instead I videoed the clip for a laugh and the memory is a fantastic day for my beautiful mother."
