Vigilante Group Nabs Two Suspected Battery Thieves, Ties Them To Pole In Plateau (Photos)

The suspects were caught red-handed by the community vigilante group at about 10pm on Wednesday night, September 1 and tied to a pole.

Two suspected thieves got more than they bargained for after they were nabbed for allegedly stealing truck batteries in Tudun Wada community, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.

It was gathered that the suspects were caught red-handed by the community vigilante group at about 10pm on Wednesday night, September 1 and tied to a pole.

According to reports, the suspects allegedly sneaked into Jolex Construction Company site and stole two GBM truck batteries worth about N150,000 each.

"The criminals were identified as Joseph Agulu and Ahmadu of 19, 27 years old respectively. They were caught right-handed in the act, though tried to deny at first. A passerby who noticed their movements in the site alerted the vigilante boys around the area
." an eyewitness narrated.
