A man who regards himself as a businessman has been dragged to court after he was arrested for beating and robbing a prostitute after she rendered the service he desired.

It was a role-reversal sitaution after a self-acclaimed businessman, Arinze Nnachi, has been dragged to an Ebute Meta Magistrate Court, Lagos, for allegedly robbing a commercial sex worker popularly called 'ashewo', at a brothel located on Borno Way, Ebute-Meta.

The court presided over by E.O. Ogunkanmi, presided over the case in which the 35-year-old Nnachi had gone to the hotel and negotiated for a whole night of sex with the prostitute called Patience Sunday, and had agreed to pay her N5,500 for her services.

But in the morning, Nnachi reneged on the agreement and rather paid Sunday N2,000 instead and in the disagreement that ensued between them, he allegedly beat her up and to add to the humiliation, he stole her handset valued at N45,000.

When the charges of assault and stealing were read to him, Nnachi pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of N20, 000 while the case was adjourned to a further date.
