Two Fraudsters Arrested For Operating Illegal Revenue Point In Benue

The duo mounted an illegal revenue signpost where they were extorting unsuspecting members of the public.

The suspects, Angulu Abdu and Chiahemba Ikyo

Two suspected fraudsters have been arrested by The Benue State Internal Revenue Service (BIRS), Taskforce on illegal revenue collections.

The two suspects, Angulu Abdu and Chiahemba Ikyo, all of Ipav, Gboko Local Government Area were arrested for operating an illegal revenue point at airport, Gboko/Ihugh road.

The duo mounted an illegal revenue signpost where they were extorting unsuspecting members of the public.

They have since been handed over to Police for further investigation and subsequent prosecution.
