Amotekun Rescues Three Abducted Travellers In Ondo

According to a report by The PUNCH, the men of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, also known as Amotekun, on Friday evening rescued the three travellers who were abducted along Ido Ani-Ifira Akoko expressway in Akoko South-East Local Government Area of the state.

The victims, who were among the 12 passengers that were attacked by the bandits at the bad portion of the road, were whisked away into the bush while the remaining nine passengers were rescued by the Amotekun Corps on Wednesday.

Confirming the development, state commander of the Amotekun Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, said, “I can confirm to you that we have rescued the three remaining victims and they will be reunited with their families.”

Adeleye added that the victims would be reunited with their family members on Saturday [today].
