#PrayersforWizkid Trends As 'Made In Lagos' Tour Kicks Off

Powered by the hashtag #PrayersforWizkid, prayers were showered on the singer by his fans popularly known as Wizkid FC, after the Essence crooner made his first tour appearance in Boston on Friday.

 

Famous Nigerian singer, Wizkid's many fans have taken to Twitter to express their support for the superstar with prayers, as he kickstarts his ‘Made in Lagos’ tour in the United States.

Powered by the hashtag #PrayersforWizkid, prayers were showered on the singer by his fans popularly known as Wizkid FC, after the Essence crooner made his first tour appearance in Boston on Friday.

Named after his fourth studio album, ‘Made in Lagos’, the tour has been met with high anticipation.

Earlier in the month, Big Wiz caused a stir on the internet after selling off the O2, one of UK’s biggest event centers, in a space of two minutes.

The tour which was announced in July, will see Wizkid performing in US cities from September 10 till October 16. While dates are yet to be confirmed, the father of three will also tour the United Kingdom later in the year.

He is also slated to hold concerts in Canada from January next year.

Praying for the star’s protection, @Gweanchana on Twitter said, “May God protect and strengthen you @wizkidayo may you have a successful show, everything will go so perfect IJN. The back up, crew and staff will render their services perfectly. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Good luck Big Wiz.”

“Oh Allah I pray over Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (Big Wiz), as he embarks on the Made in Lagos tour, I pray no evil will befall him, may he always be protected, I pray no mechanical errors or emergencies will occur,” @Gbadegesin tweeted.

@machala_jr prayed that the tour will be “successful and one of its kind, and may he come back safely and healthy after the tour.”

“Father in heaven, I stand before you today in your omnipotent presence to ask that you grant Wizkid strength. I want you to give him the strength to power through all of the task on this #MIL tour and beyond,” @Adebayo_slim wrote.
