A man who shocked people when he stripped his own sister n*ked in Kano has gotten himself into trouble with the law for the act.
A Sharia Court in Sabon Gari, Kano, on Wednesday remanded a 23-year-old man, Isah Idris for allegedly beating and stripping his sister, Rukayya, n*ked.
The Judge, Abubakar Ayagi ordered the accused person be remanded in prison custody after pleading guilty to a charge of criminal force contrary to Section 165 of Kano Sharia Law.
He adjourned the case till Jan. 20 for sentencing.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Cpl Ahmed Magawata told the court that the matter was reported at Zango Police division, Kano by Rukayya.
Magawata said that the accused, on Jan. 7, beat up Rukayya and stripped her n*ked for stepping on his shoe while coming out of the bathroom.
“ He beat the complainant, stripped her n*ked and injured her simply because she mistakenly stepped on his shoe,’’ he said.
