Multichoice Nigeria spent a whopping N4.3 billion to organise the just concluded Big Brother Naija season 6 reality show.
This was revealed by John Ugbe, Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, owners of DSTV.
He revealed this at the season 6 winner’s prize presentation.
“We employed 12,000 persons for this show, it cost us N4,3billiom to air this show this year
“We use BBNaija to enrich lives and contribute positively to society. We hope to continue to do so.”
The organisers also revealed that one billion votes were recorded this year from the viewers.
Ebuka also announced that during the finale week, the show had over 300 million votes.
