The controversy surrounding the missing 2016 national budget of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has taken a new turn with two separate copies of the document coming into the picture.

The Nigerian senate has disclosed that there are two versions of the 2016 budget in a series of post via social media platform, Twitter.
The Senate confirmed today, 14th of January that apart from the earlier version submitted by the president last December, they received another version from the senior special assistant (SSA) to Buhari on national assembly, Ita Enang.
The rationale behind the new budget which the senate may reject is currently unknown. The tweets affirm the decisions of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
