Olisa Metuh to Remains in Kuje Prison Until Jan 19th As Judge Adjourns Bail Hearing

The embattled spokesman of the People's Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh will have to wait in Kuje Prison till next week when his second bail hearing will take place.

The PDP National Publicity Secretary who is entangled in the controversial $2bn arms deal scandal, was this Friday morning, January 15 arraigned before Justice Abang Okon of a Federal High Court in Abuja.
 
Olisa Metuh was arraigned on a 7-count charge of corruption and money laundering.
 
He pleaded not guilty to the charge when read to him.
 
The judge deferred his bail hearing till January 19th and ordered that he be remanded in Kuje prison. Metuh was arrested in connection with the $2.1 billion arms deal on January 5th
