The Nigeria Police Dorce, Oyo State Command has detonated a bomb at Abolongo custodial centre, four days after the correctional centre was attacked by gunmen who freed hundreds of inmates, TheCable reports.

Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Correctional Centre in the state, Olanrewaju Anjorin confirmed the development.
Anjorin said; “It is true but police detonated the bomb after the officers of correctional centres discovered that there was explosive planted outside the facility."
