The UK Mirror reports the Frenchman is being considered to replace Koeman long with favourite Xavi Hernandez, Belgium boss Roberto Martinez, Ajax manager Erik ten Hag and Marcelo Gallardo of River Plate.
Henry scored 49 times in three seasons for Barca in his playing days.
He won the LaLiga title as well as the 2009 Champions League title.
