Kaduna residents were treated to a pleasant surprise recently when a mentally unstable woman gave birth to a baby in broad daylight.

A mentally unstable woman named Hassana gave birth to a cute baby boy in Kaduna Central Market, yesterday.
Hassana reportedly delivered the baby in front of a bank adjacent the Kaduna State Media Corporation, KSMC, while hundreds of citizens watched her.
Some women not wanting to let the woman's privates be shown in public despite her mentally deranged state, formed a circle round her in the market while she was delivering the baby boy.
The identity of the man who is responsible for the pregnancy is unknown. Well meaning Nigerians donated packets of pampers, bottles of Olive oil, baby cloths, underwear, assorted baby foods and milks to the new born baby and mother.
As at press time, the baby and the mother were in good condition.
