A man has been giving an odd treatment after being apprehended smoking a contraband substance in a school environment.

This young man was caught yesterday morning inside a student classroom at Uyo High School, Uyo, Akwa-Ibom, with packs of weeds and matches and they chained him to a desk at the school's security post.
Smoking of marijuana is a crime in Nigeria. It is not clear if he was later handed over to the police for prosecution.
