Man Hailed As Hero After He Pulled 8 People Out of a Burning Bus (Photo)

Sirizani Butau jumped in to rescue commuters following an accident on Harare-Mutare highway in Zimbabwe on Dec. 24.

A man who jumped into a burning bus to rescue eight persons has been hailed as a hero.
 
The truck driver from Zimbabwe pulled out 8 people from a burning bus and sustained injuries in the process.
 
Sirizani Butau jumped in to rescue commuters following an accident on Harare-Mutare highway in Zimbabwe on Dec. 24.
 
While rescuing passengers, Sirizani Butau sustained serious injuries. He is currently at the hospital receiving treatment and donations are pouring in for him.
 
Over four people have been confirmed dead in the accident by the Zimbabwe police force.
 
But for Sirizani's intervention, there would have been more casualties.
 
The 8 people he pulled out are the only survivors.
 
Zimbabweans on social media have been hailing Sirizsni, calling him a hero, and expressing willingness to donate to him.
