A heartless husband now on the run has dealt the wife a lifetime blow after he cut off her nose for trying to challenge his authority.

A woman living in Faryab province, Afghanistan has met wicked and cruel fate after her husband allegedly cut off her nose because she refused to support him in marrying a 7-year-old girl.
The victim identified as Reza Gul and her mum Zarghona rowed with Mohammed Khan about his wish to marry the child on Sunday. The result of their refusal was bastardly.
In the past Reza's monster husband has wanted to take his uncle's daughter as his second wife which resulted in an argument and his rescinding the decision.
Reza who married at 15 and has a one-year-child with her husband is now in great pain after the heartless encounter left her with a severed nose.
Mohammed, 25, was forced to flee for his life after news of his depraved crime broke. The man tried to join the Taliban – but the group have reportedly claimed they will punish him according to Islamic law.
Reza's mum Zarghona said: "This infidel cut off my daughter's nose.
"If I catch him, I'll tear him to pieces.
"I went to the Taliban. I asked them: 'Is this the Islam we are following? My daughter's nose chopped off? But you are doing nothing about it. I want justice'.
"They got really angry and now they are searching for the boy.
"I hope they find him before the police do."

After losing a lot of blood Reza was rushed to hospital on Monday in northwest Afghanistan. Her husband Mohammed had been away in Iran – but after returning he began abusing his wife.
Kabul-based women's rights activists Alema said: "Such a brutal and barbaric act should be strongly condemned.
"Such incidents would not happen if the government judicial system severely punished attacks on women."
