According to The PUNCH, a 25-year-old man identified as Omemma has been stabbed to death by suspected members of a cult.
The incident happened at Mile 1, in the Diobu axis of Port Harcourt, Rivers State and it was learnt that Omemma was going about his normal duties when the assailants attacked and inflicted knife cuts on him.
It was also alleged that Omemma was killed in revenge for an attack allegedly launched by the group he belonged to earlier.
Acting spokesman for the state police command, Grace Irengi-Koko, confirmed the incident and also disclosed that investigation had been ordered to unmask the attackers.
Koko said; “There is calm now and after our investigation, we will know who carried out the attack."
