Bandits Abduct 12 People in Kaduna Community On New Year's Eve

A youth leader in the community, Jamil Kerawa who confirmed the attack said the bandits operated unchallenged.

 
12 persons have spent their new year with bandits after they were kidnapped from Kerawa village in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State in the wee hours of Friday December 30.
 
10 women are said to be among the victims.
 
Daily Trust reported that a youth leader in the community, Jamil Kerawa who confirmed the attack said the bandits operated unchallenged. 
 
He said; 
 
“They abducted 12 people two male and 10 women after killing one person. One other was injured and rushed to hospital in Zaria. We need help in Kerawa because only God is protecting us."
 
Karewa called on the State Government to deploy security personnel in the area, as he lamented the increase in attacks.
