The Lagos bar beach was a beauty to behold shortly after the Independence of Nigeria as several people of different races visited to catch fun unlike today.

Lagos Bar beach is arguably the most popular beach in Lagos. The beach is located on Ahmadu Bello way in Victoria Island, Lagos.

This (above) is how it looked like in the mid-1960s which is a far cry from its current outlook today due to management and poor maintenance culture.

The beach today is a far cry from this beautiful picture you see above. Environmental pollution and degradation has defaced what once was a very clean and sandy fun spot.
