Residents of a remote area in Adamawa state are currently counting their massive losses after suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked the local government and killed about 30 people.

According to reports, the assailants ambushed a police team led by the CSP Okozie Okoriofor killing him and some policemen. Pictured are officials of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA and Red Cross Society removing corpses and cleaning up the area after the bloody attack.
It was learnt that the invaders might have been on a revenge mission as there was a clash between farmers in the communities and some herdsmen recently.
