The hearing of the case of the embattled PDP spokesman, Olisa Metuh, in the $2bn arms deal saga continued today.

The trial of the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),Olisa Metuh continued today, Monday January 25.
He was again brought to the court in handcuffs wearing a long sleeves shirt and jeans different from his usual tradional wears from previous appearances. Meanwhile, another court has adjourned hearing on the case of infringement of the fundamental human right filed by Metuh, till February 10 for hearing on the matter.
Olisa Metuh appeared confident as usual and even shared smiles with his close associates who attended the court hearing.
The case by Justice O.E. Abang was last heard on January 19 when he was granted N400 million bail, which he is yet to meet. It was on allegation that Metuh received N400 million from former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki.
This amount was supposed to be part of the $2.1 billion arms purchase scandal under Goodluck Jonathan government.
Olisa Metuh was also granted another bail in the sum of N300m and two sureties in like sum for shredding his statement.
