Singer Omawumi has openly asked for forgiveness from her friends she has neglected since the money and fame came along.
The mother of two in a recent heartfelt post, openly admitted that she has not been a good friend to most of her friends who where there for her before she hit the limelight.
She, however, appealed to such friends, asking their forgiveness and pledging to amend her ways.
"I have had a bit of time to reflect these past months waiting for belle to come down. I observed amongst other things I haven't been a good friend to most of my friends especially my old friends from 'before I blow, I have not reached out to some people who out of love did their bit to nudge me in the right direction.
"If I start to name name we go old here. Friends from my childhood, from demonstration, from Ekpoma, from Port Harcourt, from my idol days, on my journey as a musician, you wey put money or sweat for me.
"Please Forgive me, I will try to change my ways. Please feel free to reach out to me so we can repair the chain of communication. Thank you for your contribution o!

The pregnant mother of one is presently in Houston, Texas, where she is working on a new album with music producer extraordinaire, Cobhams Asuquo, while also waiting for her due date.
