Saudi Arabia drinker has been caught trying to smuggle alcohol into the country after attempting to hide 14 bottles of booze in his underwear, and now he faces getting lashed.

According to official Saudi Press Agency (SPA), a man was caught trying to smuggle 14 bottles of liquor in his underwear into Saudi Arabia.
Head of customs, Fahad Dhufallah al-Otaibi, said the smuggler was stopped at customs on his way back from the island kingdom of Bahrain on the 16-mile-long King Fahd Causeway linking the two Gulf countries.

Alcohol is illegal in Saudi Arabia and anyone caught breaking the law is liable to public flogging or long detention.
