Nigeria's apex court, the Supreme Court, has sacked the two remaining Anambra state senators from the Senate.

The Supreme Court on Friday upheld the nullification of the elections of Stella Oduah and Andy Uba as the senators representing Anambra North and Anambra South senatorial zones respectively.

Both Oduah and Uba were elected on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP. With the latest rulings, PDP no longer has any senator from Anambra State.
The apex court had earlier sacked Uche Ekwunife, also elected on the card of PDP, but has since defected to the All Progressives Congress.
