A terrifying moment has been captured on camera when two men narrowly escaped death after lightning nearly struck them dead.
A really terrifying footage captures the deafening moment lightning strikes just metres from two men.
After the clip was shared on reddit by user SailorJerry95, it was quickly up-voted by impressed redditors.
As the short clip opens, it is clear that the weather in the area over an unknown harbour is on the turn as dark clouds can be seen on the horizon.
One of the men can be seen walking into the shot as the two presumably prepare to capture a storm on film.
But within seconds the pair get more than they bargained for when a bolt of lightning lands just metres from them with a deafening crack. The two men run back into what appears to be a boat in shock, swearing and shouting in fear.

It is really a lucky escape for the men as it is estimated lightning strikes kill approximately 24,000 people a year worldwide.
Surprisingly, people who are struck by lighting stand a good chance of surviving, but they often end up with debilitating or mysterious ailments.
