A brave boutique owner has shocked two gun wielding robbers who pointed a gun to his head, by smartly locking them inside his shop.
Two teenagers have met their match after they walked into a boutique attempting to rob the owner at gun-point in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
The thieves whose names were given as Thurlbert Femi, 19, and Festus Fefegha, 18 had entered the boutique of one Sunday Anyigor with a gun and were busy selecting different wears and other valuables when the owner of the boutique did the unthinkable.
The man locked the armed robbers inside the boutique before raising alarm that attracted people who in-turn called the police. The police arrived and disarmed the thieves.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Bayelsa, Asinim Butswat said the incident occurred at Okaka area of Yenagoa Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday.
The police spokesman didn’t give details of the encounter between the shop owners and the teenage robbers, but he said investigation into the matter is ongoing.
