Lai Mohammed’s Son Loses Third Term Bid For Lagos Assembly

Mohammed was defeated by Seyi Lawal on Friday at the All Progressives Congress’ primary election.

Folajimi Mohammed, the Member of Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikeja State Constituency 1, has lost his bid to represent the constituency for a third consecutive term.

Mohammed is the son of the minister of information and culture Lai Mohammed.

Mohammed was defeated by Seyi Lawal on Friday at the All Progressives Congress’ primary election.

Lawal, a former legislative leader of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, polled 15 votes while Mohammed got nine votes.
