According to Obi, what he is desperate about is to see Nigeria work for the teeming youths and other Nigerians facing hardship across the country.

Former Anambra state governor and Presidential hopeful, Peter Obi has said that he is not desperate to rule Nigeria.

According to Obi, what he is desperate about is to see Nigeria work for the teeming youths and other Nigerians facing hardship across the country.

He made this statement while featuring on Channels TV programme, Politics Today on Friday night.

Peter Obi who dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP on 25th May later joined the Labour Party on Friday, 27th May.

He maintained that the party is the right platform that aligns with his aspiration.

According to him, he had chosen a path that he considered to be in line with “our aspirations and my mantra of taking the country from consumption to production.”
