Desmond took to Instagram on Wednesday to congratulate the ruling party's presidential candidate.

Nollywood actor cum politician, Desmond Elliot is celebrating Bola Tinubu after he emerged the presidential flagbearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Tinubu defeated the likes of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former minister of transportation Rotimi Amaechi among others to become the party’s candidate for the nation’s top job.
The former Lagos governor polled 1,271 votes, about half the number of delegates who participated in the primary election.
Amaechi got 316 votes while Osinbajo came third with 235 votes.
Rejoicing over Tinubu’s victory, Desmond took to Instagram on Wednesday to congratulate the presidential candidate of the ruling party.
The 48-year-old wrote: “This is what you call LANDSLIDE. REASON WE REJOICE. Join me please. JAGABAN’23.”
“Congratulations!!! JAGABAN ‘23 Un 2 d nxt …Love and Politics my peeps .. politics not talk, abuse, hate,” Desmond added.
The lawmaker representing Surulere Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for a third term.
