Delta Queens and Nigeria's Super Falcons player, Ngozi Okobi has said that the Swedes were lucky to escape with the draw as they were not better than the Falcons.

Ngozi who scored the first goal in the spirited comeback, assisted Francisca Ordega for the third goal and was voted player of the game in the six-goal thriller against Sweden, said costly mistakes on the part of the team gifted Sweden a point.

“We went into the game with the aim and determination to beat Sweden. It was not as if they played better than us, they were just lucky not to lose the game, they got their goals due to the costly mistakes we made,” Okobi told Vanguard.
