Police Confirm Abduction Of Three Missionaries In Kogi

The Kogi State Police Command has confirmed the kidnap of three missionaries working with the Kogi State Child Evangelism Fellowship, CEF by gunmen.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP William Aya confirmed the incident in Lokoja on Monday.

Aya, however, gave an assurance that the police are working round the clock to rescue the victims.

The Kogi State Coordinator of Children Evangelism Ministry (CEM), Evangelist Charles Esho had earlier told DAILY POST that the three missionaries; Evangelist Peter Adigidzi, Pastor Mike Baba, and Pastor Sunday Abah who reside in Lokoja were kidnapped on Friday the 10th of June 2022.

The incident happened at Ejule in Ofu Local Government Area of the state while they were on a ministerial assignment to the area.

Evangelist Esho called for prayers for their safety and divine rescue of the victims within the shortest possible period.
