A terrible incident has left rescuers almost in tears after a newborn baby was found in a sewer abandoned by its mother.

The shocking moment a baby found trapped in a sewer after being thrown down the toilet is shown in a new video. The terrified newborn was found trapped among faeces in the U-bend of a sewer pipe in the toilet of a university dormitory, Dailystar reports.
The baby finally resued
Help came after the poor child's desperate cries for help was heard by people prompting medics and firefighters to work together to rescue the trapped tot. Rescuers battled to save the baby using a massive circular saw to cut through the sewer pipe before reaching the baby.
The baby was later rescued and handed over to doctors for safety.
