Some personnel of the Nigeria Police Force have been seen assaulting people.

They were captured in a video assaulting some travellers in Edo State.

The 43-second video was uploaded on Twitter by Quest Times.

“Police brutality caught on tape in Edo state,” it tweeted.

The officers who were in their uniforms and well-armed were seen beating one of the travellers.

A woman was also heard in the video saying, “We no thief ooo, our paper motor correct, please ooo, wetin we do?”

Police brutality, extortion and harassment appear to continue in Nigeria despite the #EndSARS protest of 2020.

Few days ago, three policemen were seen assaulting a young man along the road in Lagos.

The officers are of the Rapid Response Squad, a unit of the Lagos State Police Command.
