In a press briefing with newsmen in Maiduguri yesterday, Borno State Police Commissioner, Aderemi Opadokun, confirmed that three suspected Boko Haram female suicide bombers were killed in Konduga LGA of the state when their Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) detonated on their way to Maiduguri. He Said...
 
“Three suspected female suicide bombers died in Konduga Local Government Area about 18 kilometres to Maiduguri on Tuesday when IEDs strapped to their bodies detonated on their way to Maiduguri. All the three suicide bombers were killed with no other casualty.”
 
He also confirmed another a blast at Tungushe Dogonwaya area along Baga/Monguno highway.
 
“At about 1530hrs on Tuesday explosions occurred at Tungushe Dogonwaya area along Baga/Monguno highway.”
 
He however failed to give details.
