Jubilation As 35 Kidnapped Residents Of Kaduna Community Regain Freedom After Three Weeks In Captivity (Video)

The victims came back to Keke B community on Friday, August 12, and were received by jubilant neighbours.

 

 

There is a lot of jubilation in a Kaduna community following the release of 35 kidnapped persons.

The thirty-five persons who were kidnapped at Keke B Millennium City, in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State regained their freedom after three weeks in captivity.

Recall that bandits stormed the community on Monday night, July 25, 2022, and abducted 36 residents including children and nursing mothers.

The victims came back to Keke B community on Friday, August 12, and were received by jubilant neighbours. 

It was gathered that one person is still in their captivity because the bandits insisted that his family must purchase two motorcycles before they release him. 

A community leader, who pleaded for anonymity disclosed that N2.5m was paid for their release.
