A man has played what is perhaps the cruelest prank on Valentine's day on his unsuspecting girlfriend when he pretended t want to pop the big question.
A video has shown the moment a loved-up girlfriend became the victim of the cruelest Valentine's Day trick which sent her into a rage.
In the video, the couple are sharing a cosy afternoon on the sofa when the boyfriend positions his mobile phone camera to begin filming. He can be seen holding a white box, much like the kind that would typically hold an engagement ring.
She asks: "Why are you recording? What are you doing?"
He gets down on one knee and says: "Basically... right... I'm a bit nervous. Give me your hand. You know you make me the happiest man in the world.
"I'm shaking... but... I love you to bits, you know that, right? I want you to make me the happiest man in the world. I have got a question to ask you."
The woman thinks she knows what is coming, and says: "Oh my God."
And then he finally asks the big question: "Will you make me a cup of tea?"
She storms off, screaming: "Are you f****** joking. You horrible little ****."
